is the Lords
The Sovereignty of God of the scriptures is absolute, irresistible, and infinite. When we say that God is sovereign we affirm His right to govern the Universe which He has made for His own glory, just as He pleases.

The scriptures are very plain in stating that God does He pleases, when He pleases, and how He pleases. He is the creator and owner of all things in the Universe.

"Rev. 4:11 declares: "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: For thou hast created and things, and for thy pleasure they are and were all created." It is the creature who must bow before the creator.

"GOD IS EXECUTING HIS PURPOSE." God sovereign framer of all events. His purpose is as eternal as He is. Nothing happens in time, but what has been decreed by God before time began. In the truest sense, God is the only one in the entire Universe, who acts independently and uninfluenced by outside forces. Psa. 115:3 states: "But our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased."

Daniel 4:35 states: "And all the inhabitants of the Earth are reputed as nothing: and He doeth accordingly to his will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the Earth: and none can stay his hand or say unto Him what does't thou." Include in the decrees of God is His purpose to save some of Adam's fallen race though the sacrifice of His only begotten son, Jesus Christ. His purpose to save His elect was frame before the world began when He chose a certain number of individuals unto salvation and gave them to His son to redeem. This is why we find Jesus Christ praying in John 17: "As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given Him (V2)." I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou hast givest them me. And they have kept thy word (V6). " I pray for them; I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine (vs. 9). Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word (vss. 20, 24). "Eternal life will only given to those whom the Father God gave the son, not one more, not one less (vss. 3, 20). "The son from heaven not from the Earth (John 16:27-29)- SM Bentayao
